How did Bitesize Uni influence your decision to apply to university?
BSU gave me greater knowledge into the course. Meeting students on the same course allowed me to find out about the course and Uni life itself. I was able to see the city and the opportunities available if I was to choose to study at Newcastle Uni. Bitesize Uni also provided me with great support and tips on what to write on my application and the type of experience I need to help me stand out.

I met people from a wide range of backgrounds, which showed me that anybody can apply and attend Uni.
Is there anything else you would like to add about your experience of attending Bitesize Uni?
BSU was a great experience, where I got to meet people from around the country. It not only allowed me to see the course in greater depth but allowed me to get a better understanding of Uni and what to expect from student life.

After attending Bitesize Uni do/did you feel more confident writing your University application?
I felt the experience gave me the information I needed to feel prepared to apply to University. BSU showed me what Uni's want to know from your UCAS application.
Did you feel more or less confident about succeeding at university after attending Bitesize Uni?
I felt more confident having experienced staying in University accommodation and being given a chance to meet people from different areas, from all around the UK. The subject taster sessions gave me an idea of what to expect, and made me more excited to experience a subject I love.
Is there anything else you would like to add about your experience of attending Bitesize Uni?
It was much less daunting than I thought it would be. My advice would be - take a chance on it and you'll definitely benefit from the experience.

Did you feel more or less confident about succeeding at university after attending Bitesize Uni?
BSU made me feel more confident. I was provided with the opportunity to explore Newcastle, not only the University, but the city as well. This made me feel more connected, and it was great insight into what student life is like and how lessons are structured.
How did Bitesize Uni influence your decision to apply to university?
Bitesize Uni was fun and well organised, and it left an enjoyable lasting impression. After BSU I wanted to attend and apply to university even more then I did before.

University is for everyone and moulds around anyone who is interested in taking this path. Bitesize Uni helped highlight this, as I was introduced to a range of different people from different backgrounds, which was a beautiful experience.
